【節分祭とは・・・】
節分とは「季節が変わる節目」という意味で、立春の日の前日のことを指し、その前後に行う寺社の祭礼を節分祭といいます。
そのため一年の最後と考えられ、希望に満ちた新春を迎えるための除災招福の願いが込められています。
室町時代以降、現在のように節分の日を定めて豆をまきながら鬼を追い出し福を迎え入れる祭事として、今日に伝えられました。
